Current Positions

Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, Apprentice,  Food and Beverage Attendants

La Provence is a new contemporary French restaurant located in Adelaide CBD, and in its first 6 months has already been awarded Best New City Restaurant, producing seasonally-inspired and Modern French cuisine. Open for Lunch Monday to Friday and Dinner Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Exciting opportunities now exist with immediate starts for experienced hospitality professionals to join the small hard working kitchen team at La Provence.

Our aim is to provide our guests with professional, attentive service, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals with previous experience in a quality dining environment, who have an understanding of fine food, wine and service. The roles also require chefs with a genuine interest and commitment to helping the restaurant become the best it can be.

Currently we are seeking to fill the roles of Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef with immediate starts available.

To be considered for these roles you should be:
A chef with high standards and strong attention to detail
Be able to work under pressure and be organised
Be able to follow instructions and be willing to learn
Respect the chain of command
Work as part of a team, and be able to work when needed without constant supervision
Be committed to producing high quality meals
Have 2-5 year of previous experience in high end restaurants
Good references in either written form or at least easily contactable
Commitment to hygiene, food safety and occupational health & safety
Have experience with a la carte and be able to handle working in a busy service
Have a genuine passion for food, presentation and service
An understanding of French cuisine is essential
Be clean, organised and punctual
Be willing to put the work and effort in to help achieve best product possible
Have a strong food and beverage knowledge and eagerness to keep learning

Experienced Floor Staff

We are also seeking professional front of house staff for casual work initially, with up to 15-25 hours per week and the option of full-time being offered to the right proven applicants.
You will need to have a current RSA certificate and a genuine interest in food and wine and providing high quality service.
